Fresh flowers are beautiful, but they fade fast. Enter the world of Dried Floralsâthe sustainable, low-maintenance trend that has taken the interior design world by storm.
Whether you love the earthy Wabi-sabi aesthetic or the free-spirited Boho vibe, creating your own dried flower arrangement is surprisingly easy and incredibly therapeutic.
Today, weâre sharing a step-by-step guide on how to style the perfect bouquet using our Boho Natural Dried Flower Bundle.
Sustainability:Â No water required, and they last for months (or years!).
Texture:Â Fluffy pampas grass and structural palm leaves add instant depth to any room.
Budget-Friendly:Â You only buy them once.
Before we start, gather your materials:
The Flowers: A curated mix of textures. We recommend our pre-mixed 60-Piece Natural Pampas & Bunny Tail Set, which takes the guesswork out of color matching.
The Vase: The vessel matters! For dried stems, an opaque vase works best to hide the dry stems. We love using our Nordic Ruffled Ceramic Vase for that sculptural look.
Tools:Â Sharp scissors or garden shears.
Secret Weapon: Hairspray (yes, really!).Â
Dried flowers, especially pampas grass, can be a bit compressed after shipping.
The Shake:Â Take your stems outside and give them a gentle shake to remove loose seeds.
The Sun:Â If possible, let your pampas grass sit in the warm sun for 2-3 hours. They will naturally “bloom” and become twice as fluffy!
Start with your vase. Don’t add water!
Begin by placing the tallest, sturdiest stems (like the Pampas Grass or Eucalyptus) in the back or center to establish the height and shape of your arrangement.
Now, layer in the medium-sized stems. Criss-cross the stems inside the vase to create a gridâthis helps hold everything in place without using floral foam.
Design Tip:Â Don’t aim for perfection. The beauty of dried florals lies in their wild, organic asymmetry.
Insert the delicate, smaller stems (like the Bunny Tails or Golden Balls) near the front or edges. These add personality and detail.
vary the heights by trimming the stems to draw the eye up and down.
Once you are happy with the shape, give the fluffy pampas grass a light misting of hairspray. This prevents shedding and keeps your arrangement looking fresh for longer.
Dining Table:Â As a stunning, low-maintenance centerpiece.
Entryway Console:Â To welcome guests with a touch of nature.
Bedside Table: Pair it with our Rose Lotus Table Lamp for a romantic vignette.
